There are many wonderful self help books available on similar topics but they only touch upon one or two areas of self healing.  This is the only book to consolidate information regarding every area of healing in a simple, effective, easy to read format.

The book takes readers on a fascinating journey of self exploration and guides them to a complete understanding of self.  Readers learn how to diagnose their negative patterns, recognize how and why they created them, and understand what needs to be done to eliminate them completely and permanently.  It also provides a system of healing modalities you can easily use as preventative maintenance.  Study guides conclude chapters and provide readers with exercises designed to help them develop, practice and incorporate the newly learned skills into their daily lives.  Motivational prayers, poetry, quotations, channeled information, and true life anecdotes are scattered throughout the book.  A resource directory on suggested reading material lists other books on the subject matter so readers can pursue a specific topic more fully.

You'll find this book easy to read and difficult to put down.

Below is a list of chapters, followed by a brief description
of each chapter to acquaint you with the book.

Introduction

Since the beginning of time we have had the ability to possess and connect to an unlimited supply of universal truth and wisdom, yet through the evolution of mankind and technology we slowly distanced ourselves from it more and more.  Although technology has improved the quality of our lives, we are missing an important link to who we are and why we are here on earth if we don’t look within ourselves for improvement as well.  Our gut instincts have become suppressed as we seek the comfort of logical answers.  We have become more dependent on fact and reason than on our own natural feelings.  Personal power comes from within.  If we shut off the connection to our own inner power we can not live a completely satisfying life.  We will not be totally connected to our true self because there will always be a missing link.  The power is still within each and every one of us and only needs to be realized, acknowledged, and acted upon to allow it to flow freely in our lives once again.  Our existence extends beyond the perceptions of our conscious mind and the matter of our physical world.  Life’s purpose unravels as we become aware of the connection between body, mind and soul.

Part I
Your Spirituality

Chapter 1: Your True Self
The chapter is an introduction to the spiritual side of humanity.  It explains that our true essence is of our soul.  By connecting to the soul instead of the body we discover our true self.   When we discover our true self beneath that shell of a body and mind, we can know complete and utter peace, understanding, fulfillment and joy.  No longer will we
feel hopeless, helpless, depressed, stagnant, lonely or abandoned.   The chapter concludes with a brief explanation of the souls purpose and why we receive endless joy, contentment, abundance and fulfillment when life is lived through it.

Chapter 2:  Spiritual Contracts
The chapter explains that every human being made plans for themselves before coming into this world.  When these plans include the aid of others they are called spiritual contracts.  Every contract has a purpose and is designed to teach lessons and further a soul’s evolvement.  It discusses soul mate relationships and describes the various types of contracts we create.  Readers are given several examples of spiritual contracts and taught how to remember their own plans in order to find the life path they intended to have.  The chapter concludes with two exercises to assist readers in identifying and understanding the reasons for spiritual contracts they have chosen.

Chapter 3:  Your Future
This chapter takes a look at the life of a soul from this day forward.  The soul lives eternally and it is important to associate with the soul instead of the body and mind.  It explains in detail what happens to our soul after we pass from this life and how it continues to evolve.  The chapter concludes with two exercises.  The first exercise assists readers in understanding their soul’s accomplishments.  The second exercise helps readers catch a glimpse of the perfection and peace of the spirit world.

Chapter 4:  A Closer Look at Death
The chapter describes what we experience, where we go, and how it will feel to pass from this earth.  Any fears or worries about death and dying will be shed from this understanding.  It explains what happens to a soul that experiences suicide, abortion, or traumatic death.  The chapter emphasizes that death is actually a birth in itself and describes the celebration you will receive from many loved ones waiting for you on the other side.

Chapter 5:  A Closer Look at Birth
The goal of this chapter is to give a detailed explanation of what the soul experiences when it enters a human body.   It describes how the soul detaches from the spirit world and connects with the physical world.  What happens to the soul with miscarriage and abortion is also discussed.  The chapter concludes with an exercise designed to make readers aware of everything their soul has been through in this lifetime.

Chapter 6:  Your Past
The chapter explains the existence of a soul prior to its human life and why we have no conscious memory of that time.  Readers learn it is important to extract knowledge from past lives in order to enhance this life and stay connected with our true self.

Chapter 7:  Cell Memory
The chapter outlines and gives examples of how experiences from past lives affect the way we think and feel in this life.  It explains why those experiences are locked in cell memory and how they can be extracted.  Readers are taught how to recognize cell memory.  Understanding the importance of utilizing positive memories as well as the need to release negative memories is also explained.

Chapter 8:  Past Lives
The author reveals six of her past lives and shares how each of them have affected her current life.   Readers learn that past lives can be wonderful, horrific, heroic, or shameful, yet they are all extremely important to our soul’s evolvement.

Chapter 9:  Remembering Your Past Lives
The chapter explains why specific past lives are revealed to us at certain times in our life.  It also describes the various ways to recall past lives and teaches readers exactly how to do so.  An exercise at the end of the chapter helps readers look back at their past.

Chapter 10:  Communicating With Your Soul
The chapter describes how you can, and do, hear the voice of your soul.  Readers learn skills that allow them to tune in to their soul.   Specific instructions are given to explain what it feels like and how to determine if it is the soul or the ego mind communicating.

Chapter 11:  The Many Voices of Your Soul
The chapter explains multiple ways in which your soul communicates with you.  It teaches how to hear through emotions and feelings rather than thought.  Readers are taught how to use a pendulum to ask questions and receive answers.  They are also  instructed on numerous methods of communicating during meditation.  The chapter concludes with two exercises that assist readers in practicing this skill.

Chapter 12:  Oneness With God
Chapter 12 explains how everyone was created by God and because of this there is no separation between the two.  It discusses different ways in which we can create feelings of detachment from our Creator.  The goal of this chapter is for readers to understand that God is not to be feared.  He is not sitting above us judging everything we do.  We are our own judge.  There is no reason to feel guilty about the bad things we’ve done in life.  God is inside of everyone and is the essence of the soul.   His essence is in constant communication with our soul.  The chapter concludes with two exercises designed to assist readers in understanding and realizing this truth.

Chapter 13:  Channeling With Your Guides
The chapter teaches readers that there are Guides in the spirit world that remain devoted to them their entire life.  It explains why we have Guides and the multiple ways they can help us through life.  Guides are constantly communicating with us, but if we’re not tuned in properly it can be confusing to distinguish if it is them or our mind.  The author explains how to become more intuitive and learn the skills needed to channel information from the spirit world.   It concludes with an exercise in basic channeling.

Chapter 14:  Methods of Channeling
The chapter provides more detailed instruction on how to channel information.  Readers will understand and practice the various methods of channeling.  Each method is clearly explained, allowing readers to determine which method is their specialty.  Everyone will realize that they can, and have been, channeling all their life.  It’s not a gift for the psychics alone.  With a little practice anyone can consciously channel.  The author shares many of her experiences with channeling to show the diversity of it.  Five exercises are given to develop and practice telepathy and channeling.  The chapter ends with exercises designed to help readers remember times in their life when they may have been channeling but were not consciously aware of it.

Chapter 15:  Surrendering to God
If God is your co-pilot, switch seats.  The goal of the chapter is for readers to become aware that God is always with them and His greatest desire is for them to be happy.  Worry, fear, and dwelling on problems are a waste of time and energy.  Those things create negativity in our mind which affects our entire life.  Readers are taught how to surrender their life to God and trust that everything they need, and more, will be given to them if they do.  God already has everything perfectly planned, in perfect order and in perfect timing.  We are the ones that create anything short of perfection in our life.  Readers will understand there is a natural rhythm to the universe and life.  Surrendering to God allows us to live in that natural rhythm.

Part II
Your Mind

Chapter 16:  Positive Thoughts
The chapter explains the power of our mind and how thought creates realities for us.  These realities can cause pain, illness, depression and lack of abundance.  Thoughts can work for us or against us.  It is our choice because we create all thought. We believe our thoughts to be true, therefore they become our truth and reality.  When we piece together all our mental realities, they create our life and future.  If we’re not happy with our life all we need to do is change our thoughts.  A questionnaire is provided to help readers understand their own negative thought patterns.  The author shares personal experiences with changing her thought patterns and how it affected her life.  The chapter concludes with an exercise designed to help readers release negative thought patterns.

Chapter 17:  Positive Affirmations
The goal of this chapter is to teach readers how to use positive affirmations.  Every thought is either a positive or negative affirmation.  By consciously reciting and repeating positive affirmations we reduce, and eventually eliminate negative thoughts.  The author shares numerous examples of thought changing exercises.  A sample affirmation is provided for readers to use.  Four chapter exercises explain methods of bringing positive thoughts into the mind, becoming more conscious of negative thoughts, creating personalized affirmations, and using visualization for maximum effectiveness.

Chapter 18:  Dreams and Sleep
The chapter outlines what your soul and subconscious are busy doing while you sleep.  Readers discover the power and messages of dreams.  When we sleep our conscious mind goes on vacation.  Relieved of the mental chatter of our mind, our soul embarks on a journey of its own.  Free from the bondage of our human body and mind, the soul connects to that place of oneness with God and the universe.  Our conscious mind can get answers, guidance and direction through our soul.  The physical body can restore its healthy state.  Emotions are diagnosed, explained and repaired during the night.  The human body benefits physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually from it’s hours of slumber.   The author gives a brief history of famous people who experienced remarkable dreams that changed their life and the lives of others.  Readers are taught how to interpret their dreams.  Several personal experiences are shared by the author and she relates detailed explanations of the meaning of each dream.  Two exercises at the end of the chapter assist readers in interpreting their own dreams.

Chapter 19:  Meditation
The chapter describes what happens to your mind, body and soul when you meditate.  It explains the importance of meditation and teaches a variety of ways to do it so readers can decide what feels natural for them.  A step by step description of the meditation process is explained.  The chapter concludes with an exercise to encourage and assist readers.

Chapter 20:  Live in the Moment
In this chapter readers understand the importance of living life in the moment instead of allowing thoughts to tie them to the past or future.  When a mind is filled with thoughts of past events it identifies its current life with that time period.  Past events create an illusion based on prior experiences and their consequences.  The mind will repeatedly relive those memories, and in turn, create the same reality for the now.  When the mind is thinking of the future it identifies its life with what will be, not what is now.  Therefore, happiness remains just out of reach.  The author gives detailed explanations of how to begin staying in the moment and outlines the remarkable benefits it creates.  An exercise at the end of the chapter helps readers begin living in the moment.

Chapter 21:  Be Creative
The chapter explains the importance of using our creativity and how a lack of creativity affects us.  Creativity calms the mind and nourishes the soul.  It brings balance to our life.  Through it, the soul is able to express itself.  Creativity occupies the mind with the total involvement of a pleasurable activity.  It is magically refreshing and nurturing.  The author shares ideas and examples of creativity.  The chapter concludes with an exercise geared toward motivating readers to start being creative immediately.

Chapter 22:  Be Playful
The chapter teaches that playing is as important as creativity, yet the two are very different from each other.  Creativity totally involves the mind in the activity.  Play frees the mind because it simply reacts and responds to the actions of your body.  Play doesn't involve a goal or well thought out plan.  Instead, it includes things like laughter, humor, and being silly.  In play, the only desired outcome is pleasure and fun.  The author gives examples of playful activities and describes what benefits will be received from it.

Part III
Your Emotions

Chapter 23:  Love Yourself
The purpose of this chapter is to express the importance of loving ourselves more than anything else.  Readers have the opportunity to analyze their feelings about love in general.  It explains how self criticism and past experiences can cause a lack of self love.   The chapter includes four exercises to release negative thoughts and promote self loving thoughts and feelings.  It concludes with a mirror affirmation for readers to recite daily.

Chapter 24:  Be Love
The chapter provides a new approach to loving others.  Rather than pouring out buckets full of love to others it explains how to be the essence of love.  Readers understand how destructive a give and take method of love can be.  It is wrong to give love in order to receive something in return.  There should be no expectations to love.  Examples are given to explain how emotional damage such as resentment or anger occur when we place expectations on the love we give out.  Two exercises at the end of the chapter provide tools to help readers consciously practice being love instead of giving love.

Chapter 25:  Let go of the Past
The chapter teaches readers how self destructive it is to carry negative emotions of past experiences.  The past is over and holds no power over us.  It’s time to stop punishing ourselves and others for things that happened long ago.  Many examples of how we subconsciously hold on to the past and what it does to us emotionally, physically and mentally are given.  A list of danger signals allows readers to identify problem areas within their life.   The author explains how we create illness, pain, depression, or injury when we continue to carry around baggage from the past.  Readers are also taught various  methods of releasing negative emotions.

Chapter 26:  Everything is Perfect
The chapter explains that everything is perfect and the only imperfect things in this world are humans.  There is a Divine plan and a natural flow and rhythm to all things.  Fighting the natural flow and rhythm of life creates unnecessary hardship and frustration for us. The fact that everything is perfect is actually borne of our spiritually true self, our soul.  The difficulties with accepting it come from our mind and emotions, two areas within us that create imperfections.  The chapter goes on to explain that there is a reason for everything that occurs in life, good or bad.   Readers are taught to look at their life from a different perspective.  The author shares her personal experiences with fighting the natural rhythm and dealing with the outcomes.

Chapter 27:  Be Thankful
The purpose of this chapter is to make readers understand that gratitude is the best attitude.   We need to be grateful and thankful for everything we have, instead of unhappy with what we don’t have.  When we are thankful for the gifts and blessings in our life, our heart opens and love pours out.  Keeping an open heart allows us to receive more gifts, love and blessings in return.  What we give, we will receive ten fold and so the cycle begins.  The chapter also teaches readers how to be thankful for everyone and everything in their life.  It reminds readers not to wait until they have to do without to remember the blessings they already have.  An exercise at the end of the chapter helps reinforce the lesson.

Chapter 28:  Forgiveness
The chapter reiterates the importance and significance of forgiving everyone, including our self.   Like gratitude, forgiveness is a reaction to an action.  When we are unforgiving we are unable to stop judging and condemning our self or others.  If we see ourselves or others as doing something wrong we create a reason, or need, for forgiveness.  If we hadn’t seen the action as wrong in the first place, there would be no reason for forgiveness.  If we can understand that our life and its experiences are ‘the way it is meant to be’, we can no longer judge wrong from right.  When we are forgiving to everyone, we discover the power and joy it gives us in return.  The chapter concludes with two exercises that help readers forgive themselves and others.

Part IV
Your Body

Chapter 29:  Energy
The chapter explains that energy is what maintains and sustains our entire existence.  While our organs and physical body do keep us up and running, it is our energy body that gives life to them.  Our energy body sustains our physical body.  The physical body we are given in each lifetime is simply the shell for our energy body, or soul.  Since our true self is our soul, we must take care of its energy.  That means we must nourish and maintain our energy body in order to have a healthy life inside our physical body.   When a soul enters a human body it gives the body life.  When the soul leaves the human body it no longer has life.  The chapter describes how cell memory and past experiences are stored in our energy and why that can affect us at this time.  Energy is the common medium of mind, emotions, body and soul and when it is running at the highest possible frequency, it naturally maintains constant healing within the body.

Chapter 30:  Chakras, Meridians & Auras
The chapter outlines the body’s several energy stations called chakras.  It teaches readers where they are located and how they regulate different parts of the body physically, emotionally and mentally.  The chapter also explains how the energy of the chakras is carried throughout the body in meridians.  Without open, flowing meridians we are susceptible to toxic overload, illness and disease.  The meridians are to your chakras what your arteries and blood vessels are to your heart.  Both need to be working well for the other to do it’s job.  A detailed description of each chakra is provided that includes;  name, location, color, element, sense, body relationship, what it does for us when it’s healthy, and how it affects us when it is malfunctioning.  Readers will learn how to diagnose pain and illness at the emotional or mental level and understand the association of the corresponding chakra.  The chapter concludes with a complete description of the human aura and how it relates to the rest of the body functions.  Readers will be taught several exercises to help them see and feel auras and energy.

Chapter 31:  Checking Your Chakras
The chapter reassures readers that even if they are unable to see or feel their energy, they can easily check the condition of each chakras.  When a chakra begins to clog or get out of whack it triggers a reaction mentally, emotionally, and then physically.  If we keep the energy of all our chakras balanced and flowing we avoid those triggers and maintain ultimate health.  Readers are given a detailed explanation of how to use a pendulum and crystals to check and maintain their chakras and aura.  It concludes with simple exercises that encourage readers to self diagnose current mental or emotional conditions prior to testing the chakras.  Then, using the chakra descriptions in Chapter 30, they can self diagnose which chakras will be running well and which will need some work.  By using the pendulum they can check their accuracy.

Chapter 32:  Energy Influences
The chapter encourages readers to be their own energy guards by paying attention to energy depleting influences.  Our bodies are extremely sensitive to the energies around us.  We’ve been living with, and experiencing, energetic influences all our life yet most of us have lost touch with how much we can manipulate our own increases and decreases.   The body has some built in protective devices and there are things we do automatically
when our energy is low.  Raising our awareness of how and when to help boost our energy level improves our mood, thought, emotions and overall energy level.  The chapter outlines the many influences that can increase and decrease energy levels.  It concludes with exercises to help reinforce the lesson.

Chapter 33:  Increasing and Protecting Your Energy
In this chapter readers are taught twelve simple exercises to recharge and protect their energy throughout the day.  The exercises will maintain their energy body at a level high enough to create constant self healing.  We can leave our house in the morning feeling vibrant and energized from a good night’s sleep but by noon our energy level can drop significantly because of environmental influences.  Protecting our energy before we start the day is insurance that we’ll feel just as energized at the end of the day as we did when we left the house that morning.  When we protect and increase our energy body, we feel more relaxed, calm and in the moment.  Readers will find the exercises greatly decrease stress levels as well.  With adequate energy, busy days glide smoothly along and there will be plenty of minutes in the day to get everything done with less stress and frustration.  This is due to the fact that once our energy level becomes high enough, and protected enough, it can easily sustain all our activities.

Chapter 34:  Rocks and Crystals
The chapter teaches readers how rocks and crystals are powerful energy transmitters and absorbers.  Each one has a uniquely different vibration and carries its own distinct healing purpose.  In ancient cultures, they were used for healing and were also considered to have sacred meanings.  The rocks and crystals today are no different.  They haven’t lost their amazing power.  We are the ones who have lost touch with how to use them for those purposes.    The author shares personal experiences and instructs readers on how to choose, cleanse and use rocks and crystals.  A six page chart describing the healing qualities of various rocks and crystals is included.  Another chart shows which rocks correspond with the different chakras and how to use them for chakra cleansing and maintenance.

Chapter 35:  Oils, Aromas, Rock and Flower Essences
The chapter explains that in addition to rocks and crystals, there are many healing benefits from essential oils, flower essences and rock essences.   They are easy to use, easy to find, affordable, completely natural, gentle, and effective.  The first section of this chapter instructs readers on how essential oils are made, when and how to use them, and how to choose them.   A five page chart of various oils and their benefits follows this section.  The second section talks about the benefits of essences, how they are made, and how to use them.  Readers learn about Dr. Bach, the founder of flower essences.  A chart of various essences and their benefits conclude this section.

Chapter 36:  Vitamins and Minerals
The chapter appears to address the body at a more physical level, however vitamins and minerals greatly enhance our spiritual, mental, emotional and physical body’s performance, as well as our energy level and overall well being.  Providing the body with sufficient amounts of vitamins and minerals supports all body functions.  Even if we
follow all previous methods in the book for self healing, we must still maintain the nutritional health of our physical body.  The author describes basic vitamin and mineral supplement usage and why each one is necessary for our energy body.

Chapter 37:  Herbs and Homeopathy
The first part of the chapter talks about herbs.  Herbs are plants that carry their own energy.  Using herbs instead of chemical drugs is a more natural way to heal the body.  Our body responds freely to natural remedies but it can create even more, or significantly worse symptoms from taking chemical drugs because they are synthetic.  Readers are taught how and when to use herbs and what precautions need to be taken.  A chart of illnesses easily treated by herbs is included.  The second part of this chapter discusses the use of homeopathic remedies.  Homeopathy believes that ‘like treats like’.  Readers learn how remedies are made and why they work.  The author includes personal experiences in using homeopathic remedies.

Chapter 38:  Diet and Exercise
The chapter reminds readers that despite the fact that our true self is our soul, the soul dwells in the body we have.  An unhealthy body robs us of our energy and therefore affects the soul.  The body can not be neglected because it houses and services the soul.  It also directly relates to our emotional, mental and physical well being.  Just as pollutants, chemicals, electromagnetic waves, and toxic people deplete our energy body, a lack of exercise and unhealthy diet depletes it as well.  The first part of this chapter talks about energy increasing and decreasing foods.  An alkaline/acid food chart shows the energetic properties of different food items.  The author discusses the negative reactions we create when we follow diets that restrict us from certain foods.  It’s the negative emotional and mental involvement that makes us cheat on diets and go back to our old way of eating.  Readers learn that the energy food diet creates no negative mental or emotional reactions.  They can comfortably and easily create their own energy increasing diet by following the chart and still enjoy splurging on a daily basis.

The second part of the chapter emphasizes that exercise is a vital part of our spiritual, mental, emotional, energetic, and physical health.  Through exercise, every aspect of our being is nourished, revitalized and cleansed.  The author is sensitive to the various reasons why people don’t make the time for physical exercise and explains how to overcome the mental and physical blocks that keep them from wanting to.  A list of exercise ideas is included that covers a wide range of physical fitness alternatives.

Chapter 39:  Pamper Yourself
The chapter explains that we need to make time for pampering ourselves so we don’t need to create an illness to get the extra pampering we desire.  Many times we create and manifest problems to allow ourselves to get sick.  It is hard to believe that we would choose to make ourselves sick, yet as miserable as illness and pain can be it is a wonderful time for us to feel forced to pamper and care for ourselves at a much greater level than we normally do.  What we need to do is maintain that pampered feeling within ourselves all the time so we don’t have to come up with an excuse like illness to get it.  The author lists several ways in which to pamper ourselves.

Chapter 40:  Energy Healers
The chapter provides a brief introduction to the world of alternative medicine and energy healers.    It explains that energy workers and alternative health care providers should be used as preventative maintenance.  Most of the time people seek medical care after they already show symptoms of a problem with their health or body.  If we regularly use alternative medicine practitioners for maintenance check ups, they will be able to diagnose a potential problem before it manifests into something serious, and often before symptoms occur.  This is because they address our health at not only the physical level, but the mental, emotional and spiritual levels as well.  Since our illnesses and pain stem from a combination of these aspects of our self, it is mandatory that our health care also addresses each of these areas.  A list of different types of energy healers is given.
